Schedule the people who do the work.
Add employees and their work hours so the calendar reflects your team’s capacity. Several available employees can support several appointments; the business does not have to be represented as a single person’s calendar.
Match appointment duration to the chosen package and add-ons. Then plan the practical limits around that capacity: the right skills, equipment, shop space and travel time still matter. An open employee calendar is not a substitute for a workable operating plan.
Make responsibility visible.
Before an appointment, establish who is doing the work, who is communicating with the customer and where the vehicle will be serviced. A named responsibility is more useful than assuming someone on the team will handle the question.
Build around the real operating day.
Set realistic employee hours and check assignments before the day starts. For a mobile team, review the service locations as well as the time slots. For a shop, account for how many vehicles and teams can work safely at once.
Detailr brings the booking and team schedule together. Use that shared context to make responsibility clear: who performs the service, who answers the customer and who confirms completion.
Questions, answered.
Does Detailr charge detailers a subscription or earnings commission?
No. Detailr does not charge detailers a software subscription or take a Detailr commission from their service earnings. The platform is funded by a customer transaction fee.
Can a business schedule recurring services and multiple employees?
Yes. Detailr supports recurring bookings, subscriptions, packages, add-ons and employee scheduling. Add-ons account for the additional time they add to a job. Set realistic services and employee hours in the app.
