An available slot should mean something.
Your calendar is a promise about capacity. Account for the service itself as well as setup, travel and handoff time when planning availability. Two appointments that fit on paper may still conflict if the locations or vehicle conditions are different.
Keep useful details attached.
A booking brings together the customer, vehicle, service and location. Review the details before the day starts and resolve any missing information through messages. An accurate appointment is easier to prepare for than a time block with no context.
Coordinate changes clearly.
If a customer needs to change an appointment, they should use the app and review the applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms. A message alone should not be assumed to update a booking. Confirm the recorded appointment details after any change.
The appointment grows with the selected work.
Detailr accounts for the extra time associated with selected add-ons. A base package and an expanded service should not automatically occupy the same slot. Set sensible durations so the calendar represents what your team needs to do.
For example, a fictional 90-minute package with a 30-minute add-on needs 120 minutes of service time. Mobile travel, setup and handoff may require additional planning. These are examples for understanding the workflow, not standard service durations.
Recurring work and employee capacity.
Recurring bookings put future service into the schedule. Employee schedules let a business plan more than one person’s workload. Review both together: a convenient repeat slot must also fit the employee, package, add-ons and operating location.
Questions, answered.
Does Detailr charge detailers a subscription or earnings commission?
No. Detailr does not charge detailers a software subscription or take a Detailr commission from their service earnings. The platform is funded by a customer transaction fee.
Can a business schedule recurring services and multiple employees?
Yes. Detailr supports recurring bookings, subscriptions, packages, add-ons and employee scheduling. Add-ons account for the additional time they add to a job. Set realistic services and employee hours in the app.
